How do i reset a newtwork security key password on a linksys router?

have a linksys wireless n router- not sure of password trying to connect other devices but a passowrd is required. Cant find any info on how to reset password.|||You could reset the router to factory default settings, which probably means there won't be any password at all until you set one up.

Before you do this, make sure you have the instructions and the software for the router so that you know how to set it up again.

Then, try this:

- Disconnect the router from power

- Press in the router's reset button using a pen or other pointy object. The button will be a small hole or small round button on the back of the router somewhere

- Keep the button pressed in while you re-connect power

- Continue to keep the button pressed in for another 10 seconds at least

Hopefully after you've done the above, the router will be back to it's factory-original settings. That likely means that any wireless network you had set up earlier with any specific name or password will be gone, and instead the router will have one with a default name and no password.|||http://technicallyeasy.net/2009/11/reset鈥?/a>

here is step by step on reset

hold red button on back of router for 5 seconds

You can also log in to the router as admin and reset it to default settings

then go into the wireless settings and put in a new password

hope this helps|||If you have lost the password, you need to reset the whole Router. then setup as New. Their is a small Button on the Back near the Power Input. Hold the Button in, unplug the power. Leave it unpluged for 30 Seconds or more. Pug it back in and when it see's everything. Login to the router
