I have a surfboard router and it doesn't use antennas so I can't upgrade that part so I was wondering would a Linksys wireless repeater work or repeat the signal from my Surfboard router? Or will it only work with a Linksys router?|||You could try it, but it would be cheaper and probably better to replace the router.
What you have to understand about using a repeater is that, while there are situations where they are the best available solution, by their nature repeaters will greatly reduce throughput.
