Depends on the model...|||Without a modem, yes. Without a computer.... would be tricky and / or impossible. If by "set up a linksys router" you mean the internal configuration of the router.|||Just connect the router by cable to the laptop to configure it. If it has an inbuilt modem this is ok, if not you need a dsl modem. All cable systems still require a modem, though.
