Can I use a Linksys broadband router to connect my PC to WiFi?

I have a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz Broadband router that my family doesn't need anymore since we have AT%26amp;T wifi. I have a windows desktop in the basement and wondered if I could use the Linksys router to connect my PC to our wifi. Any help?|||Im confused. Why would you need the router if you already have ATT Wifi?|||No. The router can only be connected TO wirelessly, not to connect to another wireless network. You could however buy a wireless adapter and connect to your AT%26amp;T WIFI.
