Where can I get a set up disc for a Linksys router?

I have a Linksys wireless router that I have lost the discs for. Where can I get it/them so I can use the router?|||Set-Up discs are not needed.

Connect PC [wireless] to Router [wired] to Broadband Modem.

Reset Broadband Modem: With a straightened paperclip, press RESET button momentarily.

Set router POWER ON.

Open PC Command Line:

Click [Start] - Click [Run...] - enter: cmd, press [ENTER]

At the prompt (c:\.....%26gt;) enter: ipconfig /all, press [ENTER]


- Ensure DHCP Enabled == YES

At the prompt (c:\.....%26gt;) enter: ipconfig /release, press [ENTER]

At the prompt (c:\.....%26gt;) enter: ipconfig /renew, press [ENTER]

TEST: Open Web Browser: Connect to Internet.

If SUCCESS: Repeat Steps after PC Command Line on other PCs.

If NO SUCCESS:

Connect PC [wired] to Router [wired] to Broadband Modem.

Perform ALL but first step.|||You don't need a set up disc. If necessary, you can do a factory reset on the router. Then you can just connect a computer to it using a cable and set it up manually. It's really not very hard; most of the default settings are fine, but you should at least set up wireless security. Then just configure your computer(s) to match the wireless settings you set up.|||Your best bet is to try the Linksys website: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wirel鈥?/a>





You may not be able to download a setup app, but you generally don't need one. You should be able to download a users manual that will tell you everything you need to know to set up the router.|||9 out of 10 times you can go to the web site and down load the drivers you need for free.....it will also give you the up dates you can't get from an old disk....


just google "linksys web site"....|||No disc required but they do have a setup wizard if you'd like.
