How do i change my password back after resetting my linksys router?

i'm going to reset my linksys router, i need to change the password after that though. how do i do that?|||After doing a reset enter the http address of the routers configuration page in case u do not kno the http refer to the routers manual and if the router has been reset u will automatically be asked to enter the new password.|||basically start clicking the FEW buttons before your pretty eyes...haha

usually its clear enough and simple to follow the steps. those routers are tiny so it can't be that hard to find the promiseland.

don't be scared of it...but if you are...then Google search for your Router's screenshots on HOW TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD or how to change my key code on my linksys router model ??????? yada

OH WAIT..

click on Start--%26gt;All Programs--%26gt;Accessories..RUN

type in: cmd

Press OK

type in: IPconfig

click Enter

look for "Default Gateway " and write down the digits and periods on that line... ok.

don't forget the periods ( decimals)

it might look something like this

192.168.1.254

In the internet' browser's ADDRESS BAR at top, Backspace and type everything like this:

http://192.168.1.264

BUT put YOUR DEFAULT GATEWAY digits in there, not what i illustratrated here...haha

this is just an example, sweetie ;)

you will be transported to your Internet Service Provider...and you can change your password there.

i almost forgot that move..LOL

good luck sweetie!|||Go to the support page on the Linksys website and look your model up. The user manual is there.
