How do I find my password for my Linksys router?

Ive been having trouble finding the password for my Linksys router and need to find it so i can use the Wi-Fi for my iPod Touch when needed.|||You say you have a linksys router. You can access the admin page by going to http://192.168.1.1(assuming you did not change the LAN side IP addressing).

The factory default to access the admin page is username: leave it blank, password: admin

If this does not work, you have to reset the router to factory default (there is no password recovery). There should be a reset button on the back of the router.

Here are detailed instructions on how to do this:

hope this helps|||Your password or your encryption key?

Your password is kinda tricky to find if you dont know it.

If your lucky, you never changed it from when you bought it, and it is still the default password which is : 1234

If not, you may need to reset the router. Then go to Internet Explorer and type: 192.168.0.1

and reconfigure the router

Your WEP or WPA encryption key is easier to find.

Go to : 192.168.0.1 and log in using the routers name and password.

Then you can view all network settings, including said encryption key.|||If you cant find it than you will have to reset it in the router config, look this up in your manual because it is different for each router.|||it may be admin all lower case and if it is not it you may have to reset it
