Can a Belkin wireless router piece for my laptop, connect to my linksys router for the internet?

If i get a Belkin wireless router piece for my laptop, can it connect to my linksys router for the internet?|||Yes It will work , All Magnifacture follows the Wireless Standards - 802.11b 802.11a 802.11g or 802.11n. Most likey the devices will be 11a 802.11g Wireless Standards


and the devices are backward compitable.

You're trying to connect two separate brands. While the connection standards (802.11b/g/n) are the same across the board, I believe they are built different. It seems to me this is how a business would stay competitive, since it's not legal to have a monopoly in America it only makes sense. Otherwise what would be the point of having several vendors? If we had only one standard for building routers then that would constitute as a monopoly, and the local electronics store would only need to sell Cisco(linksys) routers rather then the variety it offers now. just a thought|||Are you referring to a wireless network card?
