I don't have any server installed but do have some 8 users with internet connection via Linksys router. I tried doing things to connect remotely but didn't come up with anything. Kindly suggest me how to connect remotely away from office from my home or other place. Your response is highly appreciated. Knowledge is wisdom.|||If you want to connect to a windows desktop via Remote Desktop, open port 3389 through your router's firewall to the IP address of the computer you want to connect to. Then find out your external IP address for that network by going to whatismyip.com. Use that IP address as the computer name in Windows Remote Desktop Connection.|||You need to hard wire to the router go to the GUI and permit remote administration. Under Administration~Management~ Remote Access.|||If you are knew, i would recommend teamviewer.

if you are a pro, then go for your router configuration. (Port Forwarding).
